I will continue fighting for the delivery of the upgrade at the exit 38 interchange.
At the 2022 Federal Election, I secured a commitment of $55 million, from the Liberal National Party, towards eliminating the nasty and dangerous bottleneck used by thousands of motorists every day, at Exit 38.
The $110 million project has matched support from the State Government and is shovel ready, however the Labor Federal Government have made no announcement on the status of the project.
That’s why I wrote to the Prime Minister asking him to match our pre-election commitment.
I will keep fighting for Forde and call upon the Labor Federal Government to match the funding promised by the LNP.
