”As the member for Forde, I'm committed to fighting for the investment our local sporting clubs deserve.
At the 2022 Election I secured a commitment of $250,000, from a re-elected Liberal National Government, to upgrade lighting at the home of the Ormeau Bulldogs Australian Football Club.
In partnership with the Gold Coast City Council, half a million dollars would be spent installing lights on the second oval and in the club carpark.
While a Liberal National Government was not re-elected, I am still fighting for our community and have called on the new Labor Government to match the LNPs funding commitment, by writing to the Prime Minister and seeking his support.
I am committed to improving our local sporting clubs and will continue to work on behalf of the community, until this funding is delivered.
