Delivering the Ormeau Football Club upgrade is a part of my plan to strengthen our Forde community for years to come.
At the 2022 Election I secured a commitment of $1 million in funding, from a re-elected Liberal National Government, to build a new club house at the Ormeau Football Club.
So many of you signed our petition to support our campaign and I thank you all for your efforts.
While a Liberal National Government was not re-elected, I am still fighting for our community and have called on the new Labor Government to match the LNPs funding commitment, by writing to the Prime Minister and seeking his support.
I am committed to improving our local sporting clubs and will continue to work on behalf of the community, until this funding is delivered.
