Pimpama PCYC

At the 2022 Election I secured a commitment of $5 million, from a re-elected Liberal National Government, to build a Police-Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) in the northern Gold Coast at Pimpama.

Developed in conjunction with the Gold Coast City Council a new PCYC would provide a number of vital youth and community programs, service and facilities to the community.

Through their three pillars of youth development, crime prevention and community engagement, PCYCs carry out an integral role in the lives of more than 50,000 young people every year.

While a Liberal National Government was not re-elected, I am still fighting for our community and I have written to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to ask that he commits to the funding pledges made in Forde throughout the recent Federal election campaign.

I am committed to providing valuable service to local residents in Forde and will continue to work on behalf of the community, until this funding is delivered.
